I was looking for months for the perfect stools to replace my old ones. There were a lot of criterion to fill. They had to be narrow enough to fit under the peninsula. They could not have arms because they needed to push all the way in so the refrigerator would open. And they had to fit in with the dining and living room areas, since the kitchen area opens to the dining room and living room. I also wanted a back for comfort. I did it!!! I found the perfect set!! (They took a little detour on the way, but it was worth the wait. )
I had to be able to open the refrigerator.

Just when I think… that’s it! I find things I love while traveling. This hummingbird blanket and the two knobby pillows are from Mexico.

Another before and after. Every time I walked into my bedroom I was hit by the black nightstands that felt out of place. I was looking for new ones and then just decided to try and change the ones I had, as they are so practical. I’m really happy with the results. It just feels so much more harmonious to me.
